You know the drill by now, GET UP AND SAY WHAT UP!! now start thinking about your day... whew...now's the time to get about with your day's work.
There is so much that is going to happen through out your day, and now that you have a positive outlook and the general idea of how your plan is going to go... how will you manage the unexpected events of the day, like a car stalling when you are in a hurry, or can't find your work projects, or something is suddenly sprung on you are the last minute.
This step, if we were square dancing, would be called a two step because it has...you guess it...two steps.. Step one of step three (stay with me don'g get confused :->) :
DO NOT PANIC Nothing is achieved if you can not think clearly. We have all seen it happen at some point or the other, it even happened to me a few weeks ago...something as as "life altering" as losing files off of your flash drive makes you feel that the earth is in the next apocalypse.
If your first reaction is to ask God why He has forsaken you, then this step is definitely for you. Over reacting is a sign of panic. It will be hard (believe me, I know) but it will be worth it, thoughts will become focused and step two of step three can begin.
THINK OF A CONTINGENCY PLAN If you can keep your panic under wraps, rational and sensible plans will begin to fall into place. So all your work is gone, you now begin to think, did I save it on my pc?...will i find it in the recent tab of the program i was using to create the document, did i ever email it, is it in my sent folder attached to an email??
When you mind is focus, options become apparent. Not panic and creating your contingency plan and/or options, you are still attempting to maintain your positive mentality. YOU are telling the problem What up!? instead of letting the problem turn you around and say don't let the door hit you on the way out...
Doesn't your day already seem a bit more manageable, there are two more steps to come. But first, let's recap the steps:
Step one:Get up and say What up
Step two: Think about your day
Step three a) never panic b) create/think of your contingency options
Hope these things help :->
Here's to positive people!
