Hmm, This Is Right...Isn't It?

This post is a reminder to the humans of the world, nothing said here is  or should be new to you, it's all been said before. On your televisions, radios, by your parents, grandparents etc. Our problem is we don't find the time to listen to those voices in our heads that tell us 'oh no, this may not be the right thing!'

Simple things that require alot of thought... I'll be the first to admit, I operate on impulsion, my actions consist of me asking after...how the hell did I end up in this.

I know like many  of us out there we know these things but just never take the time to consider the pros and cons of the situations.

There are always indicators that you are doing the right or wrong thing...so..what are they??

CHECKLIST:

  • Are your actions justified-do they make sense
  • What are the benefits for you and your growth when you do this
  • Who is affected by your actions
  • How are they affected by actions
In your head weigh the pros and cons, keeping those points in mind. It doesn't have to be a long list, for all minor decisions weigh three options one pro and one con and for the last option, don't think on it, say the first consequence to come to mind. If it is a positive consequence then, by all means go ahead and engage in the action but if the first thing to come to mind is negative then I suggest you find something else to do.

There's nothing wrong with impulsive actions, once you are prepared to take the consequences. Always take responsibility for your actions, as I said last time, you have free will and no one forces you to do anything, so there is no one else to blame but yourself.

Every action has a consequence and other people are always affected by your decision. So my advice to making the right decision...always find the time to think about the consequences that will arise from you decisions.

Your health, mentally and physically should benefit from your actions. If you are at work and the place is causing you more harm than good, do you stay because the money is good? Or do you take that scary leap and terminate your job.

I know of a person who had the courage to do it, the job was bringing him down and he made the decision to quit, had no prospects at the time just faith... it was hard to imagine myself in that position,I doubt I would've done it like that.

Consider the magnitude of doing something like that. the right decision is seldom easy, in a world where everything fun and easy has a label written in big and bold "IT'S THE WRONG THING, DON'T TOUCH"

However you have to know your value and the value of the people who surround you, and your decisions will start to reflect the 'right' choices for you.

Here's to positive people!

  1. The most important thing is to take responsibility for your actions. Spontaneity is needed to enjoy life
